CLINICAL COURSE OF HIV INFECTION The natural history of HIV infection is divided into seven stages. 1. Virus infection 2. Primary HIV infection (Acute HIV infection) 3. Seroconversion (Formation of antibodies) 4. Asymptomatic Period 5. Early Symptomatic Period 6. Late Symptomatic Period (AIDS) 7. Advanced Stage 1.
